1 killed, 8 wounded in Kapisa clash

KABUL (Pajhwok): A man has been killed and four women and as many men have been injured as a result of a clash between two families in central Kapisa province, an official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Abdul Fatah Faiz told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash erupted over the division of a thoroughfare in Koh Band district.

However, he said, intervention from security forces helped resolve the dispute between the families in Malan Khel Dara Nama village.

According to the police spokesman, some people involved in the dispute have been arrested and their cases referred to judicial organs.
